LifeSolutions Consultative Training Approach
Our consultative training process acknowledges the complexity of the variables that contribute to a workplace issue and operates on an assumption that managers are successful when supported in using their best problem-solving capabilities. This consultative model identifies specific opportunities for training, such as the manager’s style and the nature of the team environment, and takes into consideration the role training has played in the work group to develop a program that provides the greatest chance for successful change.

- A Manager or Human Resources team member contacts LifeSolutions National Service Center (NSC) using 1-800-647-3327 and expresses an interest in one of LifeSolutions workshops (listed below):
- The LifeSolutions National Service Center connects that individual with a LifeSolutions consultative training specialist.
- Utilizing a consultative approach, the LifeSolutions professional talks with the caller to determine:
- What prompted the request
- How the situation is currently being addressed
- Success criteria for resolution of the issue
- Goals and expectations of the requested training
- Based on the above, a plan of action is developed.
- Discuss appropriate training options.
- Establish time frames and resources.
- Clarify goals and outcomes.
- Schedule training when it is recommended.

Available Workshop Areas
Workshop content is focused in three areas:
- Managing disruptive and disrespectful relationships at work;
- Engaging employees using more effective coping strategies;
- and decreasing “presenteeism” — a lack of focus, attention, and productivity at work — through wellness initiatives and resources.
